Q11. Why no attendance record is shown on attendance report?
 

Simply set shift table in “Shift Code and Late/Overtime Setting Listing”, and then set roster table in “Roster Table Maintenance” for generating reports.

Q12. Why “Com Port Checking Failed” is shown when checking comm port?
  Please confirm com port is not occupied by other setting and software, and then check if port number of the setting is correct.
Q13. What is the reason that controller cannot be scanned?
  1. Please check whether ID jumpers of the controller is the same as the added controller ID of the software;
2. Please check whether the connection between com port and controller is smooth;
3. Please check if the connection plug on the controller is properly plugged.
Q14. If clock time displayed on the reader and computer is not the same, in what way to adjust it?
  You can click a connection in “Controller’s Clock” and then send the computer’s time to controller.
Q15. Why “Format is incorrect” is shown when uploading data?
 

Simply click the “Activate Skip Entry Records Checking Routine (Data Upload)” in “System Parameter Setup”.

Q16. How to write entry record into TXT file?
 

Simply click the “Write Entry Record into a Text File” in “System Parameter Setup”.

Q17. How to write entry record into TXT file and numbers of this file are written depending on the entry time?
 

Simply click the “Write Entry Record into a Text File” and leave “Filename inYYYYMMDD.txt format” blank in “System Parameter Setup”.

Q18. Why is there no response when punching Mifare card over the reader?
 

Simply take system key setting.
Firstly, select “IC card key set up” in “System Parameter Setup”, then choose the card number position in IC card. After that, set 12 to 16 letters or digits as a system key and then send it to controller.

Q19. Why panel text cannot be input to reader?
 

Please confirm if reader is in Chinese or English version in “Controller Parameters”.

Q20. Two readers are installed and linked up with the same controller, and the lines are all connected, but why is there no response when punching card?
 

You may need to check if the in/out ID number of reader is already set.
